I believe in a personalized approach that caters to the needs of each student. While I provide a solid foundation of material that extends from a beginner to a college level performer, the path for each student is unique.

We will begin by identifying the technical deficiencies of the student’s guitar playing, and create a plan to resolve these issues.

Once a solid foundation of technical skill has been achieved, the student will begin to learn repertoire that is appropriate to their skillset.

I only provide one-on-one, in-person lessons. Please use the button below to inquire about lessons. I travel to teach lessons in Wilmington, and across the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Lessons are $35 for a half hour and $70 for an hour. The first lesson is free.

Testimonials

“Fantastic teacher, especially helpful when it came to one on one instruction in our private lessons. I was able to go from never having touched a musical instrument before to being able to read music and site read certain pieces.”

“Luke is a really great guitar teacher, who's really willing to work with each individual student to meet individual needs. I've been playing for a while and took this course to learn a new aspect of guitar playing, and right off the bat, Luke was able to mold his teaching style to be most effective for where I was at. He's a really great teacher, and a really down-to-earth, nice guy.”

“Luke Nolan is a great guitar teacher and is also super knowledgeable about about the instrument and the history of classical guitar especially. He does a good job of making his lessons applicable to students ranging from beginners to experienced and the one-on-one lessons are incredibly helpful.”
